The Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking a dedicated English Faculty member for its General Studies program in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality English as a Foreign Language instruction to second‑language learners within a student‑centric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver English courses aligned with syllabus and program goals.
• Utilise educational technology to enhance instructional delivery.
• Provide continuous feedback and assess student progress through tests, projects, and assignments.
• Serve as a student advisor, supporting at‑risk learners and mentoring during internships.
• Participate in academic and extracurricular events across the college and community.
• Contribute to the development and preservation of faculty and system‑wide policies.
• Engage in applied research relevant to the division’s interests and national innovation priorities.

Required profile

• Experience teaching English as a Foreign Language to adult learners.
• Strong commitment to student‑centered learning and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues on policy development and research initiatives.
