General Technician

About the role

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking a General Technician to join the team at Anantara Retreat Santorini Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of safety, appearance and functionality across all civil, interior design and FF&E finishes within the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Respond immediately to all work requests related to health and safety.
• Ensure environmentally friendly practices when handling solvents and finishing agents.
• Address guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain and repair civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes.
• Follow the preventive maintenance program to keep finishes in optimal condition.
• Evaluate equipment and area usage and respond appropriately.
• Complete work orders diligently and keep a daily logbook of problems, solutions and activities.
• Assist the Assistant Chief Engineer with assigned tasks.
• Maintain health and safety documentation and report potential hazards.
• Participate in the emergency response team as directed.
