General Technician - Tile

About the role

We are looking for a General Technician specialized in tile work to join our hotel team in Dubai. The role combines artistic craftsmanship with technical precision to deliver high-quality tiled surfaces across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare floors, walls and countertops for tile installation, ensuring surfaces are clean and level.
• Cut, shape and lay tiles according to design specifications.
• Apply adhesives, grouts and sealants, meeting industry standards for durability and safety.
• Maintain workshop inventory, monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and any issues arising in the work area.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and adhere to operational standards.
• Participate in task-force teams for new hotel openings and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tile installation or a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to work independently and uphold high quality standards.
• Willingness to join immediately.
