Global Audit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Global Statutory Audit Manager to lead external statutory audits for an international telecommunications group operating in more than 25 markets. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will oversee the Group’s side of the audit process across multiple legal entities, jurisdictions and audit firms, ensuring timely completion and filing of audited financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Group statutory audit calendar for all international entities.
• Coordinate statutory, consolidated and regulatory financial audits.
• Manage relationships with the Group auditor, component auditors and local audit firms, including appointments, rotations and independence checks.
• Negotiate audit fees within approved parameters.
• Oversee the PBC (Prepared by Client) process and ensure timely delivery of audit information.
• Handle audit queries, review proposed adjustments and drive clean/unqualified audit opinions.
• Escalate material audit matters, qualifications or going‑concern issues.
• Coordinate statutory filing requirements, board approvals and regulatory submissions.
• Provide regular audit‑status reporting to the Group CFO.

Required profile

• Strong experience in MNO/MVNO telecommunications environments.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA or CPA).
• Big‑Four or equivalent external audit training.
• Proven track record coordinating statutory audits across multiple legal entities and at least three countries.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, statutory financial statements and external audit requirements.
• Experience managing group audits with component auditors and resolving significant audit adjustments.
