About the role

Tether is seeking a precision‑driven Global Events Financial Controller to act as the fiscal engine for its Global Events department. Working 100% remotely, you will own the full financial lifecycle of international events, from vendor quotation to final payment and annual budget reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

Consolidate vendor quotations and ensure accurate cost tracking.
Develop, monitor, and report budgets, providing real‑time financial clarity to the Events team.
Manage contract signature processes and maintain proper documentation.
Oversee invoicing, payment processing, and multi‑currency, multi‑company reconciliations.
Prepare post‑event financial reports and analyses.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
5+ years of accounting experience in the events, travel, or hospitality industry.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

Required skills

Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Multi‑currency and multi‑company reconciliation
