Global Relationship Manager Business Director

About the role

The Global Relationship Manager Business Director will lead the management and development of a portfolio of Funds and Sovereign Wealth Funds for a major Italian banking group. Acting as the senior client relationship lead, you will coordinate with industry teams, global strategic coverage, and specialist product units to deliver tailored banking solutions and drive commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure profitability, sales growth and risk objectives for the assigned portfolio in line with the bank’s strategic guidelines.
• Serve as the primary contact for portfolio clients, working closely with Relationship Managers and internal functions.
• Analyse client needs and promote Investment Banking products and services in collaboration with the General Manager, industry experts and global coverage teams.
• Coordinate Relationship Managers’ sales initiatives, supporting the promotion of Commercial Banking products while complying with operational processes and regulations.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in a similar banking relationship management role.
• Strong knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
• Solid understanding of credit risk.
• Excellent communication and commercial skills.
