Global Talent And Development Director

About the role

Kempinski Hotels is seeking a Global Talent and Development Director to lead the identification, recruitment and development of future hotel General Managers. Based in Dubai, you will shape the leadership pipeline for a luxury hospitality brand and ensure the next generation embodies Kempinski’s European heritage and 2.0 vision.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a 360° market map of high-potential General Managers, using proactive talent scouting and long-term relationship strategies.
• Represent Kempinski at industry events and forums as a brand ambassador to attract top leadership talent.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for General Manager positions, from sourcing and vetting to offer negotiation.
• Coordinate closely with Regional SVPs, corporate leadership and hotel owners to align talent with property needs.
• Own and evolve the GM Excellence and Community Leadership programmes, ensuring continuous development of appointed leaders.

Required profile

• Proven senior-level experience in talent acquisition and development within the hospitality or luxury service sector.
• Strong network and ability to map talent across regional and global markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior executives and owners.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate brand values into leadership capabilities.
