Goods Flow Team Leader – Retail

About the role

The Goods Flow Group Leader supports the Goods Flow Manager by leading the goods flow team to ensure maximum product availability and efficient order fulfillment while keeping costs low. The role coordinates logistics operations within the store, guarantees compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, and promotes IKEA values and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Balance inbound and outbound volumes by optimising store space, equipment and staffing.
• Ensure the team complies with IKEA’s code of conduct, internal regulations and local health, safety, security and environmental legislation.
• Provide input to the logistics action plan and implement improvements in goods flow processes.
• Share best practices, develop team competence and uphold health‑and‑safety standards in goods handling.
• Maintain high‑quality daily goods flow operations to support product quality, merchandising and stock accuracy.
• Support IKEA’s sustainability goals and act as a responsible partner in reducing environmental impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in goods flow or supply‑chain management within retail.
• Knowledge of retail operations and fast‑paced environments.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume logistics and drive continuous improvement.
