About the role
The Group Accountant will join a leading multinational logistics group in Dubai, reporting to the Group Finance Manager. This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality management and financial information across all entities of the holding company.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain financial ledgers for all holding‑company entities, including monthly bank and key‑account reconciliations.
- Manage cash and debt balances, coordinate with treasury on draw‑downs, deposits, transfers, inter‑company interest and hedge accounting.
- Prepare quarterly management accounts with variance analysis, forecasts and annual budgets.
- Compile the holding‑company sub‑consolidation.
- Prepare statutory accounts for each entity and support the external audit process.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant, preferably with experience in an accounting practice.
- Strong academic background.
- Currently residing in the UAE.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial consolidation is preferred.
