Group Treasurer

About the role

ECU Worldwide is seeking a Group Treasurer to build and lead a global treasury function. The role reports to the Global CFO and will be a strategic partner for finance, business units and external banks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate global cash management processes, ensuring accurate positioning, forecasting and automation across all jurisdictions.
• Manage the Group’s debt portfolio, negotiate financing terms and maintain relationships with banks, rating agencies and other financial partners.
• Drive working‑capital optimisation initiatives, reducing receivables, payables and inventory financing to free cash flow.
• Identify, hedge and report foreign‑exchange exposures using derivatives and natural hedges.
• Lead treasury transformation projects, including implementation of Treasury Management Systems and centralisation of finance processes.

Required profile

• 13+ years of progressive treasury or finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a multinational environment.
• Proven track record of building treasury functions, systems and high‑performing teams from the ground up.
• Professional qualifications such as ACT, CFA or MBA are preferred.
