Guest Service Agent

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Guest Service Agent to join our front‑office team at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering friendly, professional service that creates memorable stays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistently professional, warm, and engaging service to all guests.
• Welcome and check‑in guests according to established SOPs.
• Check‑out departing guests following hotel standards.
• Sell rooms to walk‑in guests and handle day‑to‑day facilities issues.
• Manage cash inventory, process cheques and foreign‑currency bills of exchange in line with credit policy.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Finance, and Reservations departments.
• Ensure the Guest Service Desk is always manned, prepared, and stocked.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and facilities.

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality or related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or reception role.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; additional language is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer literate; experience with the Opera PMS is advantageous.
