Head Florist

About the role

The Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Head Florist to lead the floral operations within its Housekeeping Department. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining elegant flower displays in guest rooms, public areas, F&B outlets and banquet facilities, ensuring the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Order and receive fresh flowers on a daily basis, maintaining accurate records of receipt and distribution.
• Develop and execute a flower replenishing schedule for public areas, restaurants, bars and guest floors.
• Supervise and perform daily touch‑ups of all flower arrangements in public spaces.
• Coordinate weekly supply requirements with the Director of Housekeeping for purchase.
• Maintain relationships with flower suppliers to ensure variety, quality and competitive pricing.
• Stay updated on new and unusual flower varieties to keep the hotel’s floral offerings fresh and distinctive.

Required profile

• Proven experience in floral design and arrangement, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
