Head Mixologist – Cocktail Bar

About the role

The Head Mixologist will lead the beverage operations of the ION cocktail bar at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, delivering memorable guest experiences through innovative drink programmes and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all beverage operations for the ION cocktail bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and maintain an innovative cocktail menu and conduct beverage training for the team.
• Control costs, manage inventory, and oversee cash handling and closing procedures.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with alcohol service regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading bar or mixology teams in a luxury hotel or upscale venue.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine and champagne service, and responsible alcohol service.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
