Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead the finance function for a leading international organization operating in the mining, metals and natural resources sector. Based in Congo, the role partners with executive leadership to drive financial strategy, ensure compliance and deliver insights that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategy, planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee treasury, taxation and risk management activities.
• Prepare and present financial reports in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and optimize overall financial performance.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision‑making.
• Lead, develop and manage the finance team.

Required profile

• Experience in mining, sponge iron, power generation or manufacturing industries.
• Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation and financial reporting.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and relevant financial regulations.
• Open to UAE‑based candidates of any nationality willing to relocate to Congo.
