Head Of Licensing And Regulatory Authorisations

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to head our Licensing and Regulatory Authorisations function. The role will guide Tether’s compliance strategy across the digital‑asset and stablecoin ecosystem, ensuring all products meet local and international regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement licensing strategies for new and existing Tether services in the UAE and other jurisdictions.
• Lead interactions with regulators, prepare authorisation dossiers, and manage ongoing compliance reporting.
• Monitor evolving digital‑asset regulations and advise senior management on risk and opportunity.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including legal, product, and engineering—to embed regulatory requirements into product roadmaps.
• Represent Tether in industry forums and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry groups.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regulatory affairs or licensing within the digital‑asset, fintech or stablecoin sector.
• Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations and international crypto‑related frameworks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self‑starter with strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
