Compliance Officer (MLRO) – Full‑Time in Dubai

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, Fasset is seeking a Compliance Officer (Manager) based in Dubai, UAE to support the establishment and maintenance of an effective Compliance Program, including exam management, advice on the impact of new regulations, and anti‑money laundering (AML) and counter‑terrorist financing (CTF) systems and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage Fasset’s compliance policies and processes, ensuring ongoing monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate regulatory filings and maintain external compliance relationships with regulators, banking partners, industry groups, and third‑party vendors.
• Manage and implement AML and CTF policies, maintain up‑to‑date AML documentation, and support regulatory visits and audit inspections.
• Maintain internal reporting for Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and manage monitoring registers to evidence compliance efforts.
• Assist in preparing Board reports on the effectiveness of financial‑crime controls and support internal audit reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in risk, fraud, compliance, AML or regulatory functions, preferably within a regulated financial services business.
• Professional certification in compliance risk management.
• Proven interest or experience in the fintech sector.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, global organization and provide effective counsel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in compliance applications and programmes.
• Virtual assets / crypto experience (nice to have).
