Head Waiter / Head Waitress – L'Abysse

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a Head Waiter or Head Waitress to lead the service team at L'Abysse, the new French‑Japanese fine‑dining restaurant on The Palm, Dubai. The role combines leadership, meticulous service standards and a passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences in a sophisticated, design‑led setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional service standards and ensure all food and beverage orders are delivered promptly and accurately.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the front‑of‑house team, fostering a culture of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to implement standard operating procedures and uphold the restaurant’s SOPs.
• Train and develop staff on service techniques, French and Japanese dining etiquette, and product knowledge.
• Monitor guest feedback and take proactive steps to exceed expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior service role within a fine‑dining or luxury hotel restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality service.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, upscale environment and adapt to the restaurant’s French‑Japanese concept.
