Head Waiter/Head Waitress – Room Service

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a dynamic Head Waiter or Head Waitress to lead the Room Service team at One&Only The Palm, Dubai. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure exceptional service standards and create memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Present yourself with energy and professionalism to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure all mise‑en‑place is prepared correctly before service begins.
• Prepare food and beverage orders within resort time standards while displaying genuine hospitality.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
• Oversee the design, layout, and upkeep of restaurant and bar equipment to reflect the resort’s image.
• Create and sustain a working environment that reflects the resort’s sense of place.
• Delegate tasks to service staff and ensure completion according to standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated on guest arrivals, departures, and daily events.
• Report any incidents, breakages, or equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage service.
• Strong leadership, motivation and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
• Professional demeanor and ability to represent the resort’s brand.
• Flexibility to work on‑site in a luxury hotel environment.
