Health, Safety & Compliance Lead

About the role

The Health, Safety & Compliance Lead will oversee all occupational health, safety and regulatory compliance activities for Abracadabra’s operations in Dubai. The role is responsible for establishing robust HSE frameworks, ensuring adherence to UAE legislation, and fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor workplace health, safety and compliance policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits and physical inspections of facilities.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and deliver HSE training programmes and promote safety awareness among staff.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health and safety statutes, labour regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, logs and analytical HSE reports.

Required profile

• Professional health and safety certification (NEBOSH, IOSH or recognized equivalent) preferred.
• Proven HSE experience in family entertainment centres, hospitality, leisure or fast‑paced operational environments.
• Advanced knowledge of UAE HSE legal standards and risk management practices.
• Strong investigative, auditing and team‑leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent certification.
• Deep knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations.
