Homeroom Teacher – Primary (Lower & Upper)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Homeroom Teacher for lower and upper primary classes at The Cambridge High School – Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will create an engaging, inspiring learning environment and deliver a dynamic, creative curriculum to motivated students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the curriculum standards for lower and upper primary students.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation.
• Collaborate closely with students, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
• Utilise IT tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications approved by ADEK (attested with equivalency).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a subject‑specific Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with a certified teaching qualification (TLS) or Diploma in Teaching.
• IELTS score or English‑medium of instruction letter from university.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach and a proven track record of outstanding teaching.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using IT for classroom instruction.
