Hostess – Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi. The role involves welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements and supporting the restaurant’s smooth operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant’s table settings and ensure all items are clean and in good repair during opening.
• Arrange the seating plan according to reservations and manager instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of chair and sofa cushions.
• Set up the hostess desk to brand standards.
• Greet guests courteously and seat them according to their preferences.
• Assist the service team when required.
• Handle telephone bookings and enquiries following hotel standards.
• Communicate guest comments and complaints to the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager.
• Support closing procedures, ensuring the dining area is left in proper condition.
