Hostess – Full‑Time Hospitality Role

About the role

Hyatt is seeking a friendly and organized Hostess to join its front‑of‑house team in Dubai. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth service flow throughout the dining outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with all food and beverage items on the menu.
• Prepare the outlet for operation, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, light cleaning and other assigned tasks.
• Take food and beverage orders, upsell where possible, and accurately record sales using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages according to established standards and clear tables promptly.
• Complete opening and closing duties, maintain a clean station, and handle special guest requests.
• Implement Hyatt brand standards, Touches of Hyatt, and Food & Beverage Top 20 practices.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year solid experience as a Hostess.
• Strong understanding of restaurant etiquette and excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to deliver top‑notch customer service in a fast‑paced setting.
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
