About the role

The Hostess welcomes guests at the Luxury Collection property in Dubai, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure. This front‑of‑house position involves greeting, seating, and supporting guests throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to a clean, available table.
• Pull out chairs, place current menus, napkins, silverware and any other standard place‑setting items.
• Arrange tables and chairs for groups with special needs and keep the dining area tidy.
• Check menus for cleanliness and up‑to‑date content.
• Monitor the dining room for seating availability, safety and overall guest wellbeing.
• Follow company, safety and security policies; report accidents and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette and communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting objects up to 10 lb.
• Assist supervisors with additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
