Host/Hostess – Guest Reception

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Host/Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. In this front‑of‑house position you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and remain available as their primary point of contact.
• Manage reservations, maintain the reservation book and answer telephone enquiries professionally.
• Prepare the outlet before service, coordinating with the service team on floor plans and table allocations.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and dining area.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the visit and address any requests promptly.
• Stay knowledgeable of menus, promotions and be able to recommend items to guests.
• Assist in updating the outlet’s database and ensure accurate record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel Food & Beverage department is preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Polished appearance, well‑groomed and a friendly, professional demeanor.
