Housekeeping Runner

About the role

The Housekeeping Runner supports the smooth operation of the hotel’s linen and housekeeping services. You will ensure that clean linen is available, stock levels are maintained, and guest requests are handled promptly, contributing to a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure linen is available for all floors as requested and maintain quality controls for all linen processes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the housekeeping pantry and store, and carry out stock takes as required.
• Take receipt of stock, store it safely, and manage par stock levels.
• Oversee issuing of linen via the requisition system and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Promptly remove soiled linen and garbage from lift landing areas to maintain hygiene.
• Manage guest requests and service issues quickly and effectively.
• Communicate shortages or special requests with co‑workers and assist supervisors during inventory counts.

Required profile

• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and perform any reasonable tasks assigned by management.
