Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to join Rose Rayhaan by Rotana in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead a team of Housekeeping Attendants, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily job assignments for Housekeeping Attendants and issue keys and supplies.
• Monitor VIP, Do Not Disturb, Sleep‑Out and double‑lock rooms, taking appropriate actions.
• Attend daily briefings, receive special instructions and manage check‑outs before reporting rooms vacant.
• Handle guest special requests and ensure timely execution.
• Inspect cleaned areas using checklists, verify room supplies, and report immediate repairs.
• Complete reports and forward found items to Lost & Found.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairwells, and train/assist attendants.
• Assist with inventory control and ensure proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational training in hospitality.
• Previous minor supervisory experience within a hotel housekeeping department.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Experience with Opera property management system (preferred).
