Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our opening team at a new Radisson Collection hotel in Fujairah. You will lead the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors and assigned areas to verify cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards.
• Allocate daily assignments, monitor productivity and ensure quality of work.
• Release rooms on time and communicate room status effectively with the Front Office.
• Coach, train and motivate team members to consistently deliver high standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring appropriate follow‑up.
• Monitor the correct use and care of cleaning equipment, supplies, linen and guest amenities.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, coordinating with the Engineering team as required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and hotel procedures.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper with inventories, reports and other departmental requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or team‑leader role.
• Strong knowledge of guest‑room cleaning, inspection procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and support a diverse team.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with inventory management for linen, supplies and amenities.
• Understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations in a hotel environment.
