HR Associate

About the role

The HR Associate will support Unified Microsystems’ operations in the UAE and the Philippines, handling day‑to‑day HR administration, recruitment, compliance and employee services. Reporting to the General Manager, the role ensures smooth HR processes across both locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records in Zoho People and Microsoft SharePoint, manage contracts, HR letters and related documentation.
• Administer attendance, leave and overtime, and coordinate payroll inputs with Finance (payroll processing is not performed).
• Coordinate performance reviews, probation periods and related documentation.
• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment using Zoho Recruit and other platforms, including sourcing, interview scheduling, reference checks and offer letters.
• Prepare HR reports, update the Employee Handbook, SOPs and templates.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 audits and contribute to HR automation and workflow optimisation.
• Oversee UAE onboarding/offboarding, visa processing, Emirates ID applications and liaise with the outsourced PRO.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour law and statutory requirements.
• Manage Philippine onboarding/offboarding, statutory reporting to DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG and BIR.

Required profile

• Experience in HR administration and recruitment, preferably supporting multi‑country operations.
• Knowledge of UAE and Philippine labour legislation and statutory reporting.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
