HR Generalist

About the role

Sika, a global specialty chemicals leader, is looking for an HR Generalist to join its Dubai team. The role supports a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and compliance with UAE Labour Law while contributing to employee engagement and organisational success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for assigned positions, including screening, interview coordination and offer preparation.
• Lead onboarding and induction programmes for new hires and maintain accurate recruitment records.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee queries, support grievance resolution and promote positive workplace relations.
• Maintain employee records, process lifecycle transactions (transfers, promotions, terminations) and generate HR reports.
• Support payroll preparation, administer benefits, monitor attendance and assist with salary reviews.
• Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, track completion and aid managers with improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR administration, recruitment and employee relations, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
