HR Operations Specialist

About the role

The HR Operations Specialist supports the HR team in Abu Dhabi by managing staff lifecycle processes, ensuring accurate updates in the e‑HR system, and coordinating the issuance of certificates, badges, and pension registrations. This role is essential for maintaining compliance with HR policies and UAE labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Update staff changes (transfers, title changes, line‑manager updates, etc.) in the e‑HR system and upload supporting documents.
• Raise IT tickets to reflect HR changes in Outlook and other related systems.
• Issue staff certificates and badges promptly for new joiners, outsourced staff, and title changes.
• Register UAE local and GCC staff with the appropriate pension authorities and maintain pension deduction records.
• Coordinate termination processes with pension authorities and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare monthly pension contribution reports for GCC national staff and reconcile contributions.
• Manage leave requests and monitor staff attendance through the TAMS platform.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in HR operations or administration, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws and pension regulations for local and GCC staff.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal departments and external authorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑HR system platforms.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook for HR‑related ticketing.
• Knowledge of TAMS (Time and Attendance Management System).
• Ability to work with pension registration platforms and generate related reports.
