HSE Engineer – Construction & MEP Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to join our project team in Dubai, supporting MEP and high‑rise construction activities. The role focuses on ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular HSE inspections and monitor adherence to local and project‑specific safety requirements.
• Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, Job Safety Analyses and Permit‑to‑Work documents.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Deliver HSE awareness programmes, toolbox talks and other safety initiatives for site personnel.
• Maintain accurate HSE reports, records and compliance documentation.
• Assist with internal and external HSE audits, training sessions, emergency drills and overall project HSE activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Level 6 HSE qualification or equivalent.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• Minimum five years of HSE experience on MEP or construction projects, preferably high‑rise.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction HSE regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, reporting and incident investigation abilities.
