HSE Officer

About the role

Almariah United Group is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to oversee health, safety and environmental practices across its transportation and oil & gas operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting risk inspections and leading safety awareness initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site safety practices and conduct routine hazard inspections.
• Enforce compliance with HSE regulations and implement workplace safety procedures.
• Lead daily toolbox talks, safety inductions and occupational health awareness sessions.
• Prepare HSE reports, audit logs, risk assessment documentation and maintain compliance records.
• Assist with incident reporting, emergency response procedures and root‑cause investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on HSE experience.
• Mandatory experience in the transportation and oil & gas sectors.
