HSE Officer

About the role

We are looking for an HSE Officer to lead health, safety, and environmental compliance across our operations. The role involves implementing and maintaining regulatory requirements, risk management processes, and emergency preparedness programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement QHSES regulatory and legal compliance requirements (e.g., OSHAD, ADCD, EAD, ADM).
• Maintain professional memberships, registrations, and legislative NOCs/permits.
• Develop and manage the QHSES legal register, management system deliverables, and operational controls.
• Conduct inspections, compliance monitoring, and support internal and external audits.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Manage emergency preparedness, fire safety, first‑aid, and medical health coverage programmes.
• Coordinate training, competency requirements, and PPE enforcement.
• Maintain liaison with local authorities, equipment calibration, and public‑health initiatives such as waste management.
• Prepare QHSES reports, dashboards, KPIs, and support supply‑chain procurement aspects.
• Enforce Estidama compliance where applicable and act to stop unsafe work.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing QHSES regulatory and legal compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHAD, ADCD, EAD, ADM regulations and related permits.
• Experience conducting HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Ability to develop and maintain emergency response and fire‑safety programmes.
• Strong coordination skills with local authorities and third‑party service providers.
