HSE & Sustainability Engineer

About the role

Crescent Petroleum is seeking an HSE & Sustainability Engineer to join its Sharjah team. The role supports environmental accounting, sustainability reporting and carbon compliance for oil and gas operations, with occasional travel to Kurdistan and Federal Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit carbon accounting, sustainability reports and regulatory compliance documents.
• Lead client‑focused aspects of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies.
• Develop, maintain and update Environmental Management Plans for assets.
• Assist in HSE auditing and assurance activities.
• Collaborate with consultants on ESIA liaison and auditing tasks.
• Perform environmental reporting using SAP software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Science or Management.
• Minimum three years of experience in ESIA, either as a client or consultant.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Kurdistan and Federal Iraq.
