Human Resources Executive – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Executive to independently run the full HR function for a fast‑growing technology company in Abu Dhabi. As the sole HR professional, you will be the primary point of contact for employees and management, handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring confidentiality and responsiveness.
• Lead the end‑to‑end recruitment cycle: job ads, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, salary certificates and disciplinary correspondence.
• Coordinate visas, work permits, medical exams, Emirates ID, insurance enrolment and employee exits.
• Maintain accurate employee records, leave balances, attendance data and document‑expiry trackers.
• Use Odoo for employee records, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, HR workflows and reporting.
• Provide monthly payroll inputs and collaborate with Finance on WPS, deductions and final settlements.
• Advise on UAE Labour Law, internal policies, disciplinary processes and grievance handling.
• Oversee onboarding, probation reviews, performance cycles, training coordination, employee engagement and off‑boarding.
• Draft, implement and update HR policies, procedures, employee handbook and communications.
• Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, leave, attendance and highlight risks.
• Support Emiratisation and other UAE employment‑compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive generalist HR experience, with at least 2 years hands‑on HR work in the UAE.
• Proven ability to manage multiple HR functions independently.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Excellent judgment, discretion and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Odoo HR module proficiency.
