Human Resources Manager

About the role

Majid Developments is seeking a proactive Human Resources Manager to build and lead the people function from the ground up. The role will own the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UAE labour regulations while supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll, manage salary records, handle leave, end‑of‑service calculations and maintain confidentiality of compensation data.
• Track attendance, set performance expectations and provide managers with reliable productivity insights.
• Partner with leadership to identify underperformance, run performance‑improvement plans and manage disciplinary actions in line with UAE law.
• Source, screen and hire candidates, and deliver smooth onboarding experiences.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, visas and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, fostering a fair and motivated workplace.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a small or fast‑growing organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law, payroll and visa processes.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations such as misconduct and terminations professionally.
• Highly organized, discreet and comfortable managing confidential information.
• Self‑starter attitude with a proactive approach to building HR processes.
