HVAC Technician – Facility Maintenance at Dubai Airport

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on mechanical and HVAC equipment at Dubai Airports. The position works either independently or within a technical team, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to all technical safety requirements to protect health, safety and welfare of self and others.
• Maintain and interpret Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC system drawings.
• Set up and use test equipment such as manifold gauges, multimeters, clamp meters, temperature/humidity meters, vacuum gauges and refrigeration leak detectors.
• Apply local and international air‑conditioning and refrigeration standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in facility management or a similar environment.
• Fluent oral and written English communication.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports, spreadsheets and presentations using MS Office.

Required skills

• Building Management Systems (BMS) knowledge.
• Interpretation of HVAC circuit, wiring, schematic and layout drawings.
• Use of manifold gauge, digital multimeter, clamp meter, temperature/humidity meter, vacuum gauge and refrigeration leak detector.
• Electrical and mechanical isolation procedures (LOTO).
• Planned preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on air handling units, fan coil units, exhaust and fresh‑air fans, package and split units, CRACUs, humidifiers and dehumidifiers.
