HVAC Technician – Luxury Resort

About the role

As an HVAC Technician at the DoubleTree By Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, you will ensure optimal comfort for guests and staff by installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test and maintain chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, ventilation units and exhaust fans.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to maximise equipment efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and repair or replace motors, compressors, coils, belts, thermostats and refrigerant lines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines and environmental standards.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency situations such as refrigerant leaks or ventilation failures.
• Document inspections, maintenance actions and work orders accurately.
• Support energy‑efficiency initiatives and system upgrade projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in HVAC technology, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven hands‑on experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical building‑services systems.
• Valid HVAC technician licence.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergency call‑outs.

Required skills

• Installation and testing of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF and ventilation equipment.
• Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Fault diagnosis and repair of motors, compressors, coils, belts, thermostats and refrigerant circuits.
• Adherence to safety and environmental compliance standards.
