HVAC/Duty Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled HVAC/Duty Technician to join our facilities team at a leading hotel brand in Dubai Production City. The role ensures that all HVAC, air‑quality, and refrigeration systems operate efficiently to provide a comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily mechanical plant inspections and monitor property temperature and energy usage.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and other monitoring devices.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and electronic systems.
• Install and service pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow all safety policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.
• Provide courteous guest service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Identify and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and cost‑savings.
• Assist with moving, lifting, and positioning objects up to 100 lb and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in HVAC or facilities maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Valid EPA Universal Certification, HVAC certification and driver’s licence.
• Ability to work in confined, elevated or uneven spaces and lift heavy objects.
