HVDC Tender Technical Manager

About the role

The HVDC Tender Technical Manager will lead technical coordination for high‑voltage direct current (HVDC) projects during the tender phase. Based in Dubai, you will act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and drive the development of optimal, cost‑effective solutions for offshore platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all technical activities throughout the tendering stage of large or complex HVDC projects.
• Serve as the main customer liaison, ensuring technical proposals meet deadlines, quality standards and budget constraints.
• Develop and present technical solutions that are safe, reliable, easy to install and operate, aligned with customer expectations.
• Estimate engineering budgets and define execution design strategies in collaboration with regional technical and engineering leaders.
• Oversee global schedules, enforce engineering processes and synchronize work packages across multiple disciplines.
• Support the transition from tender to execution (Order to Remittance) and coordinate functional engineering leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with HVDC systems, FACTS, and grid‑solution integration.
• Proven experience in the renewable or industrial power sector.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20 % of the time.
