ICT Pre-Sales Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Pre‑Sales Engineer to design and propose technology solutions that meet client requirements. The role bridges sales, technical, and project teams to deliver comprehensive networking, cybersecurity, and cloud offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions.
• Design and develop solutions covering networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data centres, cloud and enterprise technologies.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses and solution documentation.
• Conduct site surveys, gather technical requirements and produce architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with sales teams to create commercially viable proposals.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Coordinate with vendors and distributors for product selection, specifications and pricing.
• Support tender submissions and ensure technical compliance.
• Work closely with project and implementation teams to verify feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging ICT technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in ICT/IT pre‑sales or solutions engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, data centre and cloud solutions.
• Experience working with system integrators or technology solution providers, preferably in the UAE.
