Information Technology Help Desk Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our global IT team in Dubai. You will be the first point of contact for users, handling incidents and service requests across hardware, software, network and cloud services while ensuring clear communication and high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and access issues.
• Log, prioritize and manage tickets through the IT ticketing system, handling requests via phone, email, walk‑up or remote channels.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, meeting‑room equipment and other peripherals.
• Support Windows and macOS devices, including OS troubleshooting, updates and performance tuning.
• Assist with Microsoft Intune device enrollment, compliance checks and application deployment.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and perform user account administration, password resets and group management.
• Handle basic network troubleshooting – Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, printer and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain local IT infrastructure and document assets.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience providing on‑site and remote support in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining ownership of incidents until resolution.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices).
• Software support for Windows and macOS.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Microsoft Intune endpoint management.
• Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID administration.
• Network fundamentals – Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP.
• Videoconferencing equipment and Microsoft Teams meeting support.
• Basic cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
