Insights Manager

About the role

The Insights Manager will turn data into actionable knowledge, enabling Emirates NBD to make data‑driven decisions across the organisation. Working within the Data Analytics unit, you will partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver clear, visual insights.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders across departments to capture data requirements and translate them into queries and analyses.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL and other data manipulation tools.
• Apply statistical methods and data‑mining techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations that communicate data stories effectively.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Communicate complex findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of data translators, setting performance objectives and providing coaching.
• Design and implement strategies to enhance the team’s data‑translation skills.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Proven ability to work with business leaders and translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small analytical team.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• SAS for statistical analysis.
• Tableau and PowerBI for data visualisation.
• Data‑mining and statistical analysis techniques.
