Inspector – Architectural Building Construction

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Inspector – Architectural Building Construction to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will be responsible for ensuring that building projects meet all architectural, regulatory and quality standards throughout every phase of construction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections at various construction stages and document findings accurately.
• Verify compliance with approved architectural drawings, UAE building codes and other relevant regulations.
• Analyse materials, methods and workmanship to confirm they meet established quality criteria.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, record violations and track corrective actions.
• Identify safety hazards, non‑compliance issues and communicate them to project managers and contractors.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Photograph and document progress and any areas of concern for project records.
• Recommend corrective measures and verify that required corrections are implemented.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in building construction inspection or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and architectural specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate reports.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and building codes.
• Ability to assess construction materials, methods and workmanship.
• Experience with on‑site safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
