About the role
Penspen is seeking an Inspector – Quality and Material Control for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that raw materials, in‑process components and finished products meet quality standards, customer specifications and industry regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Verify that all materials and components comply with specified quality requirements.
- Maintain documentation, monitor processes, and conduct testing and measurement activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and project teams to resolve quality issues.
Required profile
- Engineering Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years on large‑scale oil and gas processing projects.
- Strong knowledge of material specifications in the oil and gas industry; ADNOC experience is a plus.
Required skills
- Material verification.
- Documentation and record‑keeping.
- Process monitoring.
- Testing and measurement techniques.
- Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
- Knowledge of oil & gas material specifications.
