Installation Technician 1 – AV Systems

About the role

AVI‑SPL Middle East is seeking an Installation Technician 1 to join its AV solutions team in Dubai. You will work on contracted projects, handling cable pulling, terminations, equipment installation and basic metal fabrication while ensuring projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cable pulls, terminations and install AV system equipment according to project directives.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools for soldering, crimping and basic mechanical fabrication.
• Assist the Lead Technician with equipment security, tool management and rack wiring.
• Travel to multiple customer sites and adapt to varying work‑site conditions.
• Support additional tasks and projects as required to meet evolving priorities.

Required profile

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client, colleague and vendor interaction.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Basic understanding of audio‑visual systems and willingness to learn on the job.
