Technical Engineer – Interior Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

AQC FITOUT LLC is looking for a proactive Technical Engineer to support interior fit‑out and joinery projects in Dubai. The role involves coordinating technical documentation, drawings, and site activities to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate shop drawings, joinery details and as‑built drawings.
• Identify discrepancies in design drawings, specifications and BOQs and resolve them.
• Coordinate architectural, interior, MEP and joinery drawings to avoid clashes before execution.
• Prepare technical submittals, material submissions and RFIs, track approvals and address comments.
• Verify site measurements and existing conditions prior to finalising production drawings.
• Support material quantity take‑offs and provide technical clarification to procurement and estimation teams.
• Issue approved drawings and technical instructions to site and factory teams.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installations comply with approved drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of interior fit‑out experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of fit‑out materials, finishes, joinery detailing and installation methods.
• Experience with MEP coordination and understanding of UAE authority requirements.
