Instrument & Control Engineer (Rotational Support)

About the role

Wood is seeking a Rotational Support / Remote Engineer specializing in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) for its Sharjah, United Arab Emirates business unit. This full‑time position provides day‑to‑day I&C engineering support to site operations, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver immediate I&C engineering assistance for operational queries and activities.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could affect safety, reliability or compliance.
• Collaborate closely with on‑site teams to communicate engineering findings.
• Progress longer‑term engineering solutions to the appropriate internal teams.
• Support production growth by reducing technical risks.

Required profile

• Relevant background in Instrumentation & Control engineering.
• Ability to work in a rotational support environment and interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written communication for technical documentation.
