Intermediate Maintenance ISE MIR - UAE

About the role

The Intermediate Maintenance Contact Team, based at the Central Maintenance Facility in Abu Dhabi, provides dedicated support to UAE Intermediate Maintenance Contact Teams for the Patriot missile system. This short‑term assignment focuses on testing, checkout, repair, and maintenance of major end items when issues exceed the capabilities of unit maintenance personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing, checkout, repair, and maintenance of Patriot major end items.
• Assist in isolating hardware, software, and Battery Replaceable Unit (BRU) problems using diagnostics, self‑checks, BITE and specialized test equipment.
• Provide on‑the‑job and informal training to UAE CMF Maintenance Technicians.
• Support the Patriot system float major end items at the CMF/Depot.
• Execute fault isolation and diagnostic procedures for complex electronic issues.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with operation, sustainment, and troubleshooting of Patriot Radar equipment.
• Familiarity with operational/analytical software used on Patriot radar systems.
• Experience using ECS troubleshooting software and status monitoring tools.
