Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to support newly awarded projects across the UAE. You will join a growing team working on high‑profile construction and infrastructure assignments, providing commercial expertise from contract administration to final account settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑contract commercial administration, including re‑measurement and interim/final payment assessments.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, variations, and contractor claim evaluations.
• Handle provisional sums, prime costs, nominated sub‑contractors, and insurance/bond administration.
• Attend design and commercial meetings to ensure alignment between technical and financial aspects.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post‑degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• At least 4 years in a consultant or client environment.
• Experience in sectors such as hospitality, residential, buildings or infrastructure.
• Strong written English for technical documentation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FIDIC contract frameworks.
• Proficiency with Cost X or comparable quantity‑surveying software.
